Dolls & Doll Parties
Our signature throw is decorated dolls. Most of our dolls are donated, acquired from thrift stores or rescued from the landfill by the wonderful folks at Ms. Pearl's Busker's Bunkhouse. We also receive generous donations from Tracy Thomson of Kabuki Hats of amazingly glorious fabric left over from her creations.
We generally have 2-4 doll parties per parade, and some of the dolls are so spectacular we have raffled them off.
Everyone is welcome to come to these doll parties, and show off their stuff. Anyone wishing to donate dolls, supplies or glue can simply e-mail us at goodchildrencarnivalclub@yahooo.com or use the handy contact form on the Support page.

Other Special Throws
We also recycle Mardi Gras beads and throws, and many of us make our own unique throws.
For example, I make my special "Captain's Throws" -- yarn dolls pictured at right.
You can also see wonderful examples of handmade throws at any parade The Society of Merry Makers is part of; some are in the slideshows.
Several of the subkrewes make themed throws, like pyrates or duckies. All welcome!
